David Wayne

David Wayne is a seasoned financial executive with over thirty-five years of public accounting and tax experience. He owned a wealth-management firm with two offices and as many as 36 employees, including, Certified Public Accountants, Enrolled Agents, Certified Financial Planners, and Mortgage Brokers. David has worked primarily with closely-held businesses and their owners and with high net-worth individuals helping to develop business and tax strategies that make sense from both an economic and tax perspective.

David has managed clients ranging in size from gross revenues of $500,000 in excess of $50 million. David also has extensive experience in securities, real estate, turnaround management, and in consulting with start-up companies within manufacturing, high technology, and distribution industries.

Among David's current professional affiliations is the National Association of Tax Professionals. Some past affiliations include the National Association of Securities Dealers, and the California Mortgage Brokers Associations, California Associations of Realtors, along with the Colorado Mortgage Brokers Association, and Colorado Association of Realtors.

David is certified by Intuit, the makers of the popular accounting software program QuickBooks, and he teaches The QuickBooks Certified Users Course at the Fremont Campus of Pueblo Community College.

David received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the  University of California and a master's degree in taxation from Golden Gate University. He is the Executive Director of the not-for-profit organization to help Colorado's youth with summer employment, which he started in 2008.

David enjoys outdoor sports including hiking, camping, skiing, and rock climbing in the beautiful state of Colorado.
